• Do not use this blanket with an infant, an immobile person, or
anyone insensitive to heat, such as a person with poor blood
circulation.
• Never leave the blanket unattended
• Never pull this blanket by the power cord. Do not use the
cord as a handle. Unplug when not in use.
• Do not use the blanket when symptoms of appendicitis are
present. Consult your physician.
• Do not use an electrical outlet that has become loose or
does not engage the power plug tightly.
• Do not remove product labels that contain warnings or safety
instructions.
• Consult with a physician for use with controlled substances.
• Do not use on areas of insensitive skin. This may lead to skin
burns.
• Burns can occur regardless of the control setting. Check skin
under the blanket frequently.
• Do not use the blanket with liniment, salve or ointment
preparations that contain heat-producing ingredients. Skin
burns can result.
• Do not use with alcohol.
• Avoid sharp folds.
• Do not tuck in the wired area of this blanket.
• Do not route electrical cords between the mattress and box
spring. Do not allow the cords to be pinched.
• Keep the controller away from drafty areas that may become
damp or wet such as an open window.
• Do not use this blanket if you or the product is wet.
• Do not use pins – They may damage the electric wiring.
• Be sure that this blanket is used on an alternating-current
supply circuit of the proper voltage.
• Turn off or unplug when not in use.
• Excessive heating may result from folding blanket, other than
a mattress, when in actual use.
