a) Inserting/changing the batteries
• Loosen the battery compartment screw (6) with a Phillips screwdriver, and then remove
the battery compartment cover (7).
• Remove the battery holder from the battery compartment.
• Insert four AA batteries in the battery compartment. Pay attention to the polarity
markings inside the battery holder.
• Place the battery holder back into the battery compartment. Pay attention to the polarity markings on the top of the
battery holder and inside the battery compartment. The protruding tab on the battery holder should point upwards.
• Replace the battery compartment cover (7) and secure it in place with the screw using moderate force. Replace
the batteries when the battery symbol on the LCD display (4) indicates a low battery level.
