Setting the speed of the piston:
Slowly tighten the adjusting screws 3
S
and 4 in an anti-clockwise direction until
the desired speed is reached.
Accelerate the moveable mass step-by-
S
step until the operating speed is reached.
Please refer to the calculations for your
application for these speeds.
Setting the end position cushioning:
Tighten the adjusting screws 8 for both end
S
position cushionings in an anti-clockwise
direction under the following condition:
– the piston rod reaches the end position
without knocking hard against it.
If the piston rod strikes hard:
– use external shock absorbers of sufficient size.
– use stops of sufficient size.
5. Conclude the test run.
8 Operation
Please note
Premature access to the positioning range of the DNCV-... can cause injuries.
S Make sure that it is not possible to gain access to the positioning range of the
DNCV-... until the piston has come to a complete stand.
If the installation is properly protected, it should not be possible to touch the
DNCV-... until the moveable mass has come to a complete stand.
Changing from lubricated to non-lubricated compressed air.
Please note
If the service life lubrication is washed out, the product will wear to a high
degree.
