Warning
The piston rod of the DNCV-... moves fast even with a highly restricted setting
(see table below).
S Make sure that the sequence of movement is such that, even after stationary
periods, the following specifications are observed:
– The piston of the DNCV-... always moves against a pressurized chamber.
– Pressure forces in the direction of outward movement due to piston areas
of different sizes are taken into account..

Tighten the adjusting screws 3 and 4

– at first completely in the clockwise
direction,
– then loosen approximately one turn.

Both cylinder chambers are ex-
hausted.
When the valve is switched from
the mid-position the piston moves
against an unpressurized chamber.
In valve mid-position the piston rod
can move freely.
Always presurize the mechanical
position first:
– With retracted piston rod
actuate valve coil 12 first.
– With extended piston rod
actuate valve coil 14 first.

Both cylinder chambers are
pressurized.
When the valve is switched
into the mid-position a force
arises due to the different
piston areas. In the retracted
piston areas. In the retracted
end position the piston rod
moves out quickly inspite of
a highly restriced setting.
Always actuate the valve mid-
position in the case of the ex-
tended piston rod.
