Fitting pneumatic components
Check whether non-return valves type HGL-QS-... are required here.

If there is a drop in pressure on a system where the cylinder is mounted in a
vertical position, non-return valves will ensure that the mass remains in the
position reached and does not slide down.
Remove the adhesive labels on the compressed air ports.

Connect the tubing for the pneumatic

ports of the DNCV-... as follows:
– connection aA: Compressed air supply
– connection 1: Exhaust port (pre-fitted
silencer or ducted exhaust).
Fitting electric components
Warning
S Use only power units which guarantee reliable isolation of the operating volt-
ages as per IEC 742/EN 60742/VDE 0551 with at least 4 kV isolation resis-
tance (Protected Extra Low Voltage PELV).
Switch power packs are permitted, providing they guarantee reliable isola-
tion in accordance with EN 60950/VDE 0805.
Warning
User-prepared cables reduce the functional reliability.
S Use only a connector socket and cable as specified in the chapter
"Accessories."
In this way you can be sure that the cable is not longer than 30 m (protection
from input offset currents induced by electromagnetic interference fields).
