Errors
Model loses adhesion to
the print bed.
The print job is interrupt-
ed.
The first layers do not
stick properly to the print
bed and loosen.
Unwanted lines are
shown on the underside.
Cause
• If the model detaches from the print
bed, this is usually not due to the
filament, but to the print bed, the
printing environment, the settings,
the STL file used or how the model
was placed on the virtual platform�
• Print bed not aligned / leveled.
The gap between the nozzle and
the print bed has changed� Distance
too large� The nozzle is too far away
from the print bed�
Filament not in contact with the print
bed during extrusion.
• Print bed not clean�
For example, due to fingerprints.
Grease residue prevents the fila-
ment from adhering to the print bed�
• Model not flatly aligned in the CAD
software�
• Contact surface to the print bed is
too small for optimal adhesion�

• The model was not placed flat on
the virtual print bed in the SIMPLEX
sliceware. Model has little contact
with the print bed and therefore
insufficient adhesion.

Corrective action
• Print bed leveling�
• Clean the print bed with pure alcohol / spirits.
• Model must be aligned again to the zero position in the
CAD software�
• Make sure the models are dropped correctly.
• When enlarging, a gap should not be visible between the
model and the print bed. The model must be placed flat
and fitted on the virtual print bed.
• Tip: Use "Drop" in Renfert mode�
