Replacing the nozzle
To replace the nozzle, proceed as follows:
⇒ If you have not already done so, remove the filament (see Chap. 7.6).

⇒ Turn off the heating of the extruder and print bed and allow both to cool down.
⇒ Move the print bed into the lowest position (AXES
⇒ Place a cloth or a cardboard box on the print bed to protect the Kapton film.
⇒ Switch off the printer.
⇒ Manually move the print head to a working position that is con-
venient for you�
⇒ Loosen the two screws holding the fan assembly approx. 1 turn
(Fig. 74).
⇒ Pull the fan assembly forwards to lift it off.
⇒ Disconnect the connector and set the fan assembly aside�
⇒ Loosen the left screw of the clamping plate approx. 1 turn and
remove the right screw (Fig. 75).
⇒ Rotate the clamping plate towards the back so that there is
space to move the heater cartridge cable�
⇒ Loosen the countersunk screw behind the nozzle by approx.
2 turns�
⇒ Pull the temperature sensor and heater cartridge out towards
the back in a straight line�
⇒ Loosen the two screws on the heat sink and pull the nozzle unit
out downwards�
Only loosen the screws, to not unscrew them!
