Rules for separating laundry
• Fabric type / symbol on the wash label (cotton, mixed fibres, synthetic, wool,
hand wash items)
• Colour
Separate coloured and white items. Wash new coloured items separately.
• Size
Wash items of di erent sizes in the same load to improve washing e ciency
and distribution of the items in the drum.
• Delicates
Wash delicate items separately.
• Baby articles (baby clothes, towels and napkins) shall be washed separately.
If they are washed together with the adults' clothes, they may be infected.
Rinsing times shall be increased to ensure the thorough rinsing and cleaning
with no detergent residues left.
• It is suggested that the items that are easily stained such as white socks,
collars and sleeves etc. shall be hand washed before being put into washing
machine to achieve more ideal washing e ects.
Empty pockets
Check all pockets to make sure that they are
empty. Items such as nails, hair clip, matches,
pens, coins and keys can damage both your
appliance and your clothes.
Close all zippers, buttons, and hooks.
Close zippers, hooks and strings to make sure that these items don't snag on
other clothes.
Tie all ribbons or belts.
