Petrol is toxic and highly flammable. Keep petrol only
in containers designed and approved for this purpose.
Never use bottles or similar to remove or store service
products such as fuel. Someone, particularly children, may
be mistakenly taken to drink them.
Always screw and tighten tank tops and fuel supply
containers. This reduces the risk of fuel spillage. Defective
covers must be replaced.
Keep petrol away from sparks, flames, heat sources or other
ignition sources. Do not smoke near petrol containers and
grinders, or during the supply process.
Refill and empty the machine fuel tank outdoors only. The
petrol supply shall be carried before the combustion engine
is switched on and the brush cutter is placed on the ground
on a level surface.
Before refueling, shut of the engine, let it cool and open the
cap carefully so as to slowly dissipate the excess pressure
inside the tank.
Don't overfill the fuel tank. In order to allow space for fuel
to expand, never add fuel above the lower edge of the filler
neck. Additionally, comply with the instructions for use of
the combustion engine.
If petrol overflows, immediately clean any spilled fuel. The
combustion engine should only be switched on after the
surface dirty with petrol is cleaned. Any attempt at ignition
shall be avoided until the petrol vapors have volatilized (dry
with cloth).
If the petrol has come into contact with the clothing, it must
be changed.
