INSTRUCTIONS FOR CHARGING,
MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE OF THE
LITHIUM BATTERY
BATTERY SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
All EAB users must comply with the instructions for charging, maintenance
and storage of the lithium battery of the EAB included in the following sub-
sections of the Owner's manual.
The following safety instructions regarding the EAB battery must be obser-
ved by all users of the EAB and its battery when handling, using, maintaining
and/or storing the battery and its charger:
→ Use only the original battery and the charger recommended by EBGO;
→ Never use the battery and the charger for a use other than that
intended;
→ Do not open, disassemble or modify the battery or the charger;
→ Always use the charger in a ventilated location, with sufficient
clearance around it;
→ Do not place the charger or the battery in an unstable position;
→ Do not cover the battery or the charger or hang elements on them;
→ Do not expose the battery or the charger to a temperature of 0 °C
and below (32°F and below);
→ Do not expose the battery or the charger to a temperature of 40 °C
and above (104°F and above);
→ Do not expose the battery or the charger to liquids, including but not
limited to water, including rain;
→ Do not place the battery or the charger in or close to any heating
appliance, gas appliance or a microwave device;
