6. When the water reservoir (7) is empty, steam will no longer be produced. Follow the
instructions in the "Filling the Water Reservoir" section to top it up again.
Steam Blast / Vertical Steam-Ironing
ATTENTION!
Make sure when doing vertical ironing that there is plenty of space around the item
of clothing which is to be ironed. You may only perform vertical ironing if the item of
clothing is hanging on a hanger and cannot come into contact with other garments,
objects, people or animals.
Iron the laundry only in places where heat and moisture cannot do any damage, e.g.
NOT in front of wallpaper, windows or mirrors.
In addition to conventional steam-ironing, the iron can also emit a strong blast of steam,
e.g. for smoothing stubborn creases or textiles which are hanging up.
As the temperature drops quickly with this function, we recommend that the iron
should be connected to the adapter (6) and connected to the mains power.
1. Make sure that the water reservoir (7) is fi lled.
2. Heat up the device.
3. Move the On / Off switch for steam (11) to position
for use.
4. When performing vertical steam-ironing on delicate fabrics, hold the iron a few centi-
metres away from the fabric.
5. Press the
of or on the fabric and then release the button again.
6. Wait a few seconds before the button is pressed again. NOTE: The lower the ironing
temperature, the weaker the production of steam and the longer it takes for more
steam to be produced.

Spray Function

The spray function is suitable, for example, for moistening delicate textiles which cannot
be steam-ironed. This function is independent of the steam function and is possible at
any temperature. NOTE: The water reservoir must have been fi lled (see the "Filling the
Water Reservoir" section).
in order to fi x the adapter (6) to the iron. The inter-
