the battery outdoors. Do not charge the battery in
wet conditions.
Only use the battery charger where the temperature
is between 5 °C (41 °F) and 40 °C (104 °F). Use the
charger in an environment which has a good airflow,
dry and free from dust.
Do not put objects into the cooling slots of the
battery charger.
Do not connect the battery charger terminals to
metal objects as this can short circuit the battery
charger.
Use approved mains sockets that are not damaged.
Make sure that the cord of the battery charger is not
damaged. If extension cables are used, make sure
that the extension cables are not damaged.
Use a residual-current device (RCD) for increased
security. A residual-current device is fitted to protect
operators in case an electrical fault should occur.
When operating a power tool outdoors, use an
extension cord suitable for outdoor use. Use of a
cord suitable for outdoor use reduces the risk of
electric shock.
Use only three-wire outdoor extension cords that
have three-prong grounding plugs and grounding
receptacles that accept the appliance's plug.
