Accessories
bit holder by pulling on bit after it has
been inserted.
The bit holder accepts only standard 1/4"
hexagonal shank accessories with power
groove 18. Do not insert the short bits 17
into the bit holder 1 unless it is in a hex bit
adapter 19 (Fig. 4).

Your GDR18V-1800 tool is equipped with a
quick release bit holder. To insert an
accessory, simply pull locking sleeve 2
forward, insert desired accessory into bit
holder 1 and release locking sleeve (Fig. 4).
To remove an accessory, pull locking sleeve
2 forward and remove it from the bit
holder.

Attach only high quality impact ready
accessories with the proper size square
drive designed for use with impact
wrenches. To install a socket 20, simply
push it completely onto output drive 7
(Fig. 5).

Your GDX18V-1800 tool is equipped with a
Socket-Ready™ quick release 1/2" square
drive 5. The Socket-Ready™ drive includes a
1/4" hex bit holder 6 designed for impact-
ready accessories. Attach only high quality
accessories with the proper size square
drive designed for use with impact drivers.
To install a socket 20, insert the square
output drive 5 into the square end of the
socket 20. To remove, pull it off output
drive (Fig. 6).
To insert an accessory, pull locking sleeve 4
forward, insert desired accessory into bit
holder 6 and release locking sleeve. To
remove an accessory, pull locking sleeve 4
forward and remove it from the bit holder
(Fig. 6).
