and is fail-safe. Nevertheless, there might still be
a residual danger for persons and property during
installation and operation.

Danger in case of inadequate personnel
qualification
Have all work on this product carried out by qualified
tradesmen.
Electrician
Due to professional training, knowledge and
experience as well as knowledge of the relevant
standards and regulations, the qualified electrician
is in a position to carry out any work on electrical
installations and connections. He has to recognize
possible dangers.
Sanitary, heating and air-conditioning specialist
Due to professional training, knowledge and
experience as well as knowledge of the relevant
standards and regulations, the sanitary, heating and
air-conditioning specialist is in a position to carry out
any work on heating and potable water installations.
He has to recognize possible dangers.

2.5.2
Risk of injury from pressurised
components
f Before starting work on the heating or potable water
circuit, make sure that the system is depressurised.
f Observe the permissible operating pressures during
operation.
2.5.3
Danger from an uncontrolled escape of
hot fluids
f Before starting work, make sure that the product is
depressurised.
f Before starting work, let the product cool down.
f After all work has been completed, check the
product for tightness.
f Cover vent holes with a cloth if required.
f Replace defective products immediately.
f Wear safety goggles.

Risk of injury in case of improper work

Stored residual energies, angular components points
and edges at the outside and inside of the product
may cause injuries.
f Before starting work, make sure that there is enough
space.
f Handle open and hard-edged components with
care.
f Make sure that the work place is tidy and clean to
avoid accidents.

Availability of the operating instructions

Any person working on the product has to read and
apply these operating instructions and all other valid
documents (e.g. accessory manuals).
The operating instructions have to be kept at the
installation location.
f Hand these operating instructions and all other valid
documents (e.g. accessory manuals) over to the
user.
