Commissioning

6.2
Connection of th flow temperature
control module to the dwelling
station
Observe the operating instructions of the
surface heating distributor/collector and of
the dwelling station "Regudis W-HTE".
The surface heating distributor/collector
must be installed before starting the
installation of the flow temperature control
module.
1. Connect the flow temperature control module to
the surface heating distributor/collector (Illustr. 4 on
page 18). Observe the correct connection of the
supply and return.
2. Tighten the collar nut firmly (tightening torque 50
Nm) after installation of the flow temperature control
module. (The collar nut of the stainless steel pipe
(see Illustr. 2 on page 17 (6)) on the suction side
of the pump is only hand tight.)
3. Unscrew the protection cap and screw the
temperature controller onto the valve (see Illustr. 2
on page 17).
4. Fix the contact sensor to the pipe to the flow
distributor (see Illustr. 5 on page 18) with the help
of the fixing plate.
5. Fix the contact sensor, fixing plate and cabled
contact thermostat with the help of the retaining
spring (see Illustr. 5 on page 18).
6. Connect the flow temperature control module to
the dwelling station "Regudis W-HTE". Screw the
double nipples into the supply and return of the ball
valve connector block in the heating circuit.
7. Connect the supply and return of the flow
temperature control module with the help of the
stainless steel corrugated pipes (see Illustr. 4 on
page 18). Use the enclosed flat seals (see Illustr.
1 on page 15) for this purpose.
NOTICE
Corrugated pipes under tension
Corrugated pipes under tension may lead to
a deformation of the distributor/collector and
of the control module.
f Install the corrugated pipes free from
tension.

Commissioning
The operating instructions of the surface
heating distributor/collector must be observed.
NOTICE
Damage to the surface heating system by
excess temperatures
Excess temperatures in the heating circuit
may cause damage to the screed.
f Set the contact thermostat to a value not
exceeding the maximum flow temperature
by more than 5°C.
f The specifications of the screed
manufacturer must be observed.
7.1

Electrical connection

Connect the individual components (e.g. contact
thermostat, connecting block) with due consideration
of the respective operating instructions.
7.2

Flushing and bleeding

Flush and bleed the installation according to the
operating instructions of the high-efficiency pump
and of the surface heating distributor/collector.
8.

Removal and disposal

NOTICE
Risk of environmental pollution!
Incorrect disposal (for instance with the
standard waste) may lead to environmental
damage.
f Dispose of the packing material in an
environmentally friendly manner.
f Dispose of the components professionally.
f Observe the information regarding
disposal in the operating instructions of
the used components.
If no return or disposal agreement has been made,
dispose of the product.
f If possible, recycle the components.
f Dispose of components, which cannot be recycled,
according to the local regulations. Disposal with the
standard waste is inadmissible.
