Problems and solutions
Symptom
If you hear a "beep" and the indicator
light is red.
White indicator light switches on and off
during operation.
Soleplate drips.
No steam.
Top of the ironing board is wet in vertical
position.
Popping sound when switched on.

Switch off appliance and remove mains plug from the wall socket.

Note the serial number of the appliance (on rear of boiler).

Have sales receipt and warranty booklet ready.

Call LAURASTAR consumer services and follow the instructions.
Likely cause
• Water in cold water reservoir?
• Cold water reservoir correctly mounted?
Normal!
• Boiler rinsed out?
• Is there any condensation after a long pause
in ironing?
• Is the white indicator light on ?
• Has SOFTPRESSING soleplate just been put on?
• Has recommended water been used?
• Water in cold water reservoir?
• System switched on?
Possible after use. Check for any condensation
that has formed under the iron cover before
storing away and leave to dry.
