3 Operation
ATTENTION:
Never operate the appliance in
one spot!
After use: Let the appliance cool down
(for at least 10 minutes). Detach the
micro fibre cleaning cloth and clean it.

NOTE:
You can regulate the discharged steam
volume and the moisture of the microfibre
cleaning-cloth as required by pumping with
the handle.
On smooth floors:
Only work with moderate steam pressure
when cleaning smooth floors, otherwise a
moisture film will be left on the floor. This will
allow for quick drying and reduced danger of
slipping on the wet floor, especially when
cleaning steps and stairs.
WARNING:
Danger of falling! Always be especially
careful when cleaning smooth floors as well
as steps and stairs!
On carpets:
First attach the carpet glider plate (fig. 2/8).
Generate more steam by moving the
handle back and forth during the entire
cleaning process in order to pump more water
into the evaporator.

3.2 After use

WARNING:
Danger of burning! The appliance continues
running Even after you have pulled the
mains plug from the socket, hot steam will
be available for approx. another 5 minutes.
1. Pull the power cable out of the plug
socket.
2. Store the power cord on the hooks
provided. This will help avoid accidents.
3. Wait at least five minutes until the
remaining steam has condensed and the
microfibre
cleaning-cloth
surrounding parts of the appliance have
cooled off.
ATTENTION:
Never leave the appliance standing on a
used microfibre cleaning cloth. Germs and
fungi could develop. The surface on which
the moist cleaning-cloth is deposited might
be damaged.
4. Remove the micro-fibre cleaning cloth.
Clean it ZChapter 4.3, "Cleaning the
microfibre cloths".
