Problem
Cannot cancel the alarm.
I can't change the alarm
message.
GenAlert will not work on
my multi-line business
phone systems, PBX
systems or digital phone

Cause
Dialer is not operating properly.
External phone area problems.
Called the wrong number.
GenAlert is designed this way. No
cause.
GenAlert is designed to work only
with a single phone line, found in
most residential homes. Sharing
a phone line with a phone, fax
machine, or computer modem
is acceptable as long as they are
sharing a single phone line.

Correction
Replace battery in GenAlert.
Check with your phone company if you
suspect problems.
Verify the right phone number.
The alarm message is pre-recorded at our
factory and cannot be changed.
Some PBX systems simply require a "9" to
be dialed before calling the programmed
number. GenAlert should be able to dial the
"9" and the rest of the number. You may
need to enter a pause after the 9 to wait for
the dial tone before the rest of the number
is dialed by the GenAlert.
