• If a stationary appliance is not fitted with a supply cord and a plug, or with other
means for disconnection from the supply mains having a contact separation in all
poles that provide full disconnection under overvoltage category III conditions, the
instructions shall state that means for disconnection must be incorporated in the
fixed wiring in accordance with the wiring rules.
• This appliance is designed to be permanently connected to the water supply.
• Never start a defective appliance or an appliance with a mains cable in poor
condition.
• Do not obstruct the ventilation grilles, in particular, do not cover the hot-cup surface
with cloths or other objects.
• Do not intervene for cleaning or maintenance work with the appliance plugged in.
• Do not unplug the coffee machine by pulling on the power cord.
• Do not allow children or inexperienced persons to handle the device.
• Do not handle the appliance with wet or damp hands or feet.
• Do not immerse the appliance in water.
• Do not leave the packaging material (bags, nails, cardboard) within the reach of
children.
• The packaged machine must be stored in one place, dry and without moisture.
• Avoid placing heavy packages of another type on the packaging.
• Use only accessories and spare parts authorized by the manufacturer.
• In the event of a malfunction or breakdown, switch off the appliance and unplug it
from the mains.
• Do not attempt to repair or intervene directly. Call your technical service.
• An incorrect installation can cause damage to people and objects, for which the
manufacturer cannot be held responsible.
• Failure to respect these warnings may compromise the safety of both the device and
the user.
• Keep this instruction manual for future reference.
• This equipment is to be installed with adequate backflow protection to comply with
aplicable federal, state, and local codes.
• This appliance must be cleaned and disinfected following a regular pattern and using
appropriate products. For cleaning and disinfection detailed information please refer
to this instruction manual, chapter 15 - Maintenance and cleaning.
