8. Maintenance
General
Regularly examine the integrity of the battery and charger, especially the cable, plug and casing. If the battery or charger is
damaged, do not use it and replace it immediately.
There are no user serviceable items in the Max Drive apart from adjustments to the speed sensor. Should you
encounter any errors or problems, consult your dealer.
Do not modify or tamper the system. This will void your warranty. The drive must be repaired by qualified
technicians using original replacement parts.
Speed Sensor
The speed sensor requires a gap of 5 to 25mm from the spoke-mounted magnet. Speed will not be displayed if the gap is too
large or the magnets are not aligned.

KO Arrange the speed sensor and the magnet unit as illustrated above. When installing the magnet, make sure its center is aligned
and the magnet face (flat surface) is perpendicular with the center of the speed sensor's induction zone.
