Storage
When leaving the battery unused for a long period, charge it to at least 50% capacity.
For extended storage, charge the battery to about 80% at least once every three months.
If the battery is removed from the pedelec, keep it away from small metallic objects such as paper clips, keys etc. Metallic items
can cause the terminals to connect and cause short circuiting.
Warning
Mechanical impact such as drops or bumps may damage the internals and cause vapors and/or corrosive liquids
to leak. If there is visible damage to the case or if the battery is emitting odors, do not use the battery and contact
your dealer for a replacement. The vapors can irritate the respiratory system, so move the battery to a place with
plenty of fresh air.
