Low battery
Battery not properly installed
Loose cables
Magnet & sensor
misalignment
Drive or display malfunction
Derailleur or brakes
improperly tuned
Mechanical light switch on Valo in
OFF position
Loose cables
Failed crimp on cable terminal
Internal fault
Action
Check that battery is fully charged
Check that battery is fully seated
in the battery mount
Check for loose cable connections,
tighten any loose connections
Check speed sensor alignment
(refer to the Maintenance section)
Check for loose cables
Seek dealer for servicing
Tune derailleur for proper chain movement
Adjust brake pads so that disc rotors do not rub
excessively against them
Seek dealer for servicing
Turn switch to ON position
Make sure input connector to Valo is tightly attached
