Please read through the instructions
carefully and proceed accordingly; store
in a safe place!
This appliance is designed for domes-
tic use or for use in household-like,
non-commercial and/or medical
environments.
Household-like environments include
staff areas in shops, offices, agricultural
and other small businesses or for use by
guests at bed-and-breakfast establish-
ments, small hotels and similar residen-
tial facilities.

● Do not step on the scales with wet feet or
if the surface of the scales is wet – Risk
of slipping!
● Keep children under supervision to ensure
that they do not play with the appliance.
● Do not let items fall on the scales.
● To prevent hazards, any repairs on this
appliance must be made by our customer
service.
These scales are to be used for the
purpose of weighing people.

Switching on the
appliance
● Remove film from battery compartment 2
(Illustration B).
● Place the scales on a firm, dry and level
surface.
Use

● To switch on the appliance, step on to the
scales.
● Do not move until the display stops
flashing. Distribute your weight evenly
between both legs.
● The measurement can then be read.
The scales show the weight in 100 g
increments.
Note: The scales will switch off automati-
cally once the measurement has been
taken.
Important: The scales automatically cali-
brate when switched off.
To ensure a correct reading, do not move
the scales after switching off.

Cleaning the appliance

Never immerse the scales in water.
Do not use a steam cleaner.
Wipe the scales with a damp cloth; do not
use scouring agents.
