INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Placement for Various Procedures:
(These examples are suggested locations and may vary in accordance with the
patient and/or surgical team technique.)
Shoulder Arthroscopy:
Place the device on the operative shoulder side of the table foot section. [right
shoulder = right side].
Wrist Arthroscopy or Reduction:
Place the device on the side of the table opposite the surgeon.
Shoulder Procedure Positioning:
1. For shoulder procedures always position boom control grip "C" at the foot of the
table. Place hand on boom control grip "C", then loosen handle "B". Move boom
head to desired position and securely tighten handle "B". Connect the fasteners
and traction weights to the arm suspension sleeve (a sterile disposable arm
suspension sleeve is included).
2. If repositioning is necessary, support the arm and remove all weights.
3. Re-adjust using the same steps as above.
