INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
3 Equipment Setup and Use:
3.1 Prior to use:
a. Inspect the product looking for any visible damage or sharp edges that could
be caused by a drop or impact during storage.
b. Make sure product has been properly cleaned and disinfected and wiped dry
prior to each use.
3.2 Setup:
The Arm Traction Device comes completely assembled and ready to use.
1. Attach the Simple Clamp to the side rail at the desired location. Insert the base
of the Arm Traction Device into the Simple Clamp. Once the desired location is
achieved along the side rail, Tighten the Simple Clamp Handle "A" to secure the
unit to the side rail.
2. Ensure that the traction arm is oriented so that when the knob is loosened, the
traction arm will not be at less than a 90° angle with the post.
i. The Simple Clamp handle secures the base of the device onto the O.R.
table rail.
ii. Handle "B" controls all boom adjustment functions including rotation,
height adjustment, extension and retraction.
iii. Boom Control Grip "C" allows for easy positioning of the Arm Traction
Device after loosening Handle "B".
