Hand pump K10C CEMO horizontal
Product description
The K 10 C CEMO horizontal is a hand-operated
pump for the delivery and dispensing of fuels
and similar materials from storage containers.
The pump is single-action, with a delivery rate of
approx. 0.25 l per stroke.
In order for the pump to function, a non-return
valve is integrated on the outside on the suction
side.
Correct usage
In accordance with its protection category, the
pump is only intended for use based on the fol-
lowing specification:
• Operation is only permitted in a gaseous,
explosive atmosphere.
• Operation is only permitted with media having
an ignition temperature above 200 °C, which
do not attack the materials from which the
pump of made.
• Operation is not permitted below ground.
• Operation is only permitted in Ex-Zone 1 or
higher.
• Explosive atmospheres may only occur occa-
sionally within the pump. Therefore, operation
without liquid is only permitted for brief periods
of time.
• When using hose fittings, only conductive
hoses may be used.

Due to these requirements for the operation
and selected ignitions protection category "con-
structive safety – c" in accordance with DIN EN
13463-5, the devices are provided with the fol-
lowing labelling:

Permissible ambient temperature:
-20 °C to +40 °C
Impermissible media temperature:
Depending on the medium (hazard class AI to
AIII); min. -20 °C, max. +40 °C
Permissible delivery media:
Diesel, heating oil EL/L, fuels, petroleum, radia-
tor antifreeze (undiluted), thin-liquid mineral oils
and RME.
Important notes:
Operation without a filter is not permitted.
The only exception is if it can be guaranteed
that only a clean medium is being delivered.
When priming, ensure that the pump does not
become hot – risk of explosion!
Ensure that no impermissibly heated media
are delivered – risk of explosion!
Persistent running on empty can lead to the
destruction of the pump.
