6. Operation
6.1 Transport
On top of the container are three integrated
recesses (item c) that serve for securing the
KS-Mobil Easy to the transport vehicle with suit-
able tensioning belts (max. 35 mm mm wide).
The optional flap lid above can be opened with-
out restriction.
The pertinent regulations for securing loads must
be observed, in particular the STVO (Highway
Code), VDI (Association of German Engineers)
guidelines and European standard CEN 12195
Parts 1-4 (calculation and lashing).
The place on which the tank is positioned on or
in the transport vehicle must be level, stable and
free from sharp objects. We recommend the use
of a non-slip mat for this!
When opening the transport vehicle, the filling
station must be secured with the hinge side of
the optional flap lid facing the direction of travel,
so that the flap lid cannot unintentionally be
snapped open by the air stream.
For a closed transport vehicle, adequate ventila-
tion must be provided for driver/passenger and
filling station.
An empty KS-Mobil Easy can be transported by
hand using the grip hollows on the side of the
tank. A filled KS-Mobil Easy can be lifted with the
forklift at the shaped recesses on the underside
and loaded onto or unloaded from the transport
vehicle.
For stacking purposes, a maximum of two empty
tanks may be stacked on top of one another. For
the version with flap lid, this must be closed.
For the purposes of fixing, there are four lock-
ing cams on the top of the container/flap lid as
well as four recesses on the underside of the
container.

6.2 Filling
Pay attention to the horizontal alignment and that
the tank load is adequately secured!
• For the version with flap lid, undo the flap lid
cam by pulling apart the fastening lugs on the
locking side.
• Fully open the flap lid.
• Make a conductive connection with the earth
cable between the tank (item e) and the
transport vehicle or the ground.
• Open the ball valve (item d) of the delivery
line.
• Remove the hose and delivery nozzle from the
integrated holder and insert the delivery spout
fully into the tank/container to be filled.
• Operate or open the delivery nozzle.
• Move the hand pump forwards and backwards
in a horizontal direction and start the filling
procedure.
Only operate the hand pump when the ball
valve and delivery nozzle are open!
Note: Tank ventilation and pressure relief are
performed automatically by the integrated
valve (item a).
Ensure sufficient ventilation in the area of the
tank during the fuelling process.
Avoid sources of ignition, such as smoking or
naked flame.
Risk of explosion!
