1.5 Product description of electric pump

Important!

pump manufacturer.
The self-priming electric pump Cematic 12/30 Ex is
an electrically driven pump with rotary vane for the
delivery and dispensing of fuels and similar media
from storage containers.
When starting up with an empty suction line and
partially filled pump, the electric pump is able to
suction liquid over a maximum height difference of
1.5 metres.
The pump motor is equipped with thermal overload
protection against overheating and a circuit fuse.
Due to the requirements regarding operation and
the selected protection category, "design safety -
d" as per DIN EN 60079-1, the pump is provided
with the following labelling:
II 2G Ex d II A T4 Gb
Permissible ambient temperature:
- 10 °C to + 40 °C
Impermissible media temperature:
depending on the medium (hazard class A I to A III)
- 10 °C to + 40 °C
Permissible operation duration:
• 30 minutes during normal operation.
• under bypass condition: maximum 5 minutes.
Important!
Risk of explosion!
Do not deliver any impermissible
heated media.
Important!
Explosive atmospheres may only
occur occasionally within the pump.
Therefore, operation without liquid is
only permitted for max. 30 seconds.

Persistent running on empty can lead
to the destruction of the pump.

Always use the correct voltage for the
electrical connection.
