DK50 PLUS, DK50 2V
If necessary, it is possible to drain the air tank using the drain valve (1) from the lower side of the
air tank (Fig. 16).
Switch off the compressor at the mains and reduce the air pressure in the device to a maximum of
1 bar, e.g. by venting air through the connected equipment.
Use a hose to drain with the free end placed in a suitable container and then open the valve to drain
condensate from the tank.
THE FOLLOWING IS REQUIRED BEFORE ANY FOLLOW-UP CHECKS
Compressors with cabinet - release the door lock and open the cabinet door.
Safety valve check
When the compressor is operated for the first time, make sure
that the safety valve is working properly. Turn the screw (2) on
the safety valve (1) several rotations to the left until the safety
valve releases air. Let the safety valve vent for only a few
seconds. Turn the screw (2) to the right until it seats, closing the
valve.
Never use the safety valve to vent air pressure in the air tank. It could damage the
safety valve. The valve is set to the maximum permitted pressure by the
manufacturer. Adjustments are not permitted!
WARNING! COMPRESSED AIR IS DANGEROUS BECAUSE OF THE RISK OF
DAMAGE TO THE EYES! RISK OF DAMAGE TO THE EYES.
