4. Getting Started
Install Battery (Page 2 – B)
Steps
1. Press the battery compartment release button to release
the battery compartment.
2. Pull out the battery compartment.
3. Install six or twelve AA batteries according to the positive
and negative marks.
4. Insert the battery compartment until it clicks into the
locked position.
Note

Make sure your batteries can work normally in the
temperature range of -20 °C to 55 °C (-4 °F to 131 °F).
 Remove batteries if you aren't making use of the device for
a long time.
Locks the protective cover.
To lock the protective cover with a
strap.
To connect the antenna.
To install the SIM card in it.
To thread the strap through the
holes.

Device supports rechargeable or dry AA batteries. The
required battery voltage is 1.5 V to 2 V.
 The battery life varies according to different function
settings.
Install SD Card (Page 2 – C)
Pay special attention to the installation direction, or the
SD card will be stuck in the slot.
Steps
1. Make sure the installation direction of the SD card is
correct (as shown in the picture).
2. Insert the SD card until it clicks into the locked position.
Note
The SD card space shall not exceed 32 GB, or the device
cannot inspect the SD card status accurately.
Install Antenna (Page 3 – E)
Steps
1. Align the thread hole on the antenna to the antenna
holder.
2. Rotate the antenna clockwise to fix it to the device.
Install SIM Card (Optional) (Page 2 – D)
The SIM card has been installed in the device. DO NOT
reinstall the SIM card if unnecessary. Pay special attention to
the installation direction, or the SIM card will be stuck in the
slot.
