1.4 Pump description
UP56-UP68 is a pump which has been designed and manufactured to be used as a component in the hydraulic
steering systems, as described in the previous paragraph.
The pump must be installed on the back part of the boat dashboard.
The steering wheel is mounted directly on the hub of the pump. In order to guarantee the boat steering
under safety conditions, the pump is provided with a check valve. The following picture shows the main
pump components:
