3 INSTALLATION
3.1 Necessary tools for rear mount installation

3.2 Rear mount installation (with KIT KR56)

Select a suitable place for the steering station.
Make sure that there is enough manoeuvering space
for the steering wheel and for the steering pump and
its pipes and fittings.
WARNING
In order to fix the pump properly, the dashboard
thickness must be between 17 and 38 mm.
The helm can be mounted only on vertical dashboards.

Screw the 4 dowels (1) in the pump (2) with an
Allen wrench 5 mm and tighten them with a torque of
40 Nm (29,52 lb ft) by using a high-strength
threadlocker like Loctite 270 (or similar) on the dowel
thread.

Screw the fittings (3) on the pump with a torque of
50 Nm (36,9 lb ft) by using an open end wrench 22 mm.
CAUTION
Do not use Teflon, Loctite or similar products on the
fitting thread since they have a seal.
