6.2 Adjustment of the clamping unit
Note
Adjusting is not required for initial start-up of DNCKE.
1. Exhaust the cylinder in a stable position (e.g. if
installed vertically, at the lowest point).
2. Pressurise the supply port 2 with at least
3.8 bar.
3. Loosen the locking screw 3 using an Allen
key.
Size
Spanner size for internal hexagon socket 1 ß

4. Unscrew the adjusting sleeve 5 half a turn in
an anti-clockwise direction.
5. Turn the adjusting sleeve 5 clockwise until
the round material can no longer move.
6. Turn the adjusting sleeve 5 clockwise until
the round material is just free to move
(approx. 10–30°).
7. Tighten locking screw 3.
The tightening torque is 7 Nm.
8. Exhaust the clamping unit.
That way, the round material is clamped.
