10. STORAGE
Before storing the snowblower for an extended period:
1.Be sure the storage area is free of excessive humidity and dust.
2.Make sure that the engine switch is in the OFF position.
3.Drain the fuel.
• Gasoline is extremely flammable and explosive under certain
conditions. Do not smoke or allow flames or sparks in the area.
• Do not drain the fuel tank when the exhaust system is hot.
a. Turn the fuel valve ON.
b. Loosen the carburetor drain knob, and drain the gasoline into a
suitable container. After draining, retighten the drain knob and turn
the fuel valve OFF.
4.Clean the fuel sediment cup.
a. Turn the fuel valve to the OFF position, remove the fuel sediment
cup, and clean it in clean solvent.
b. Reinstall the O-ring and fuel sediment cup and tighten it securely.
