Stoves marked with this symbol only apply to iQ+ series stoves with the „Blue
Angel" seal of approval.
Stoves of the iQ+ series have an automatic combustion control and catalytic
combustors which not only minimise carbon monoxide, but also fine particles and
hydrocarbons.
WARNING: ELECTRIC SHOCK
Connecting the controller under the stove to a 230 Volt mains socket can result in
electric shock due to contact with the stove:
► Do not connect your stove to a 230 Volt mains socket under the
stove.
► The connection under the stove must be a USB connection
with max. 5 Volt.
Initial operation
The controller detects all operating states and automatically configures
the required settings.
The stove cannot be operated manually without the controller.
Switching on the controller:
► Connect the USB-C cable to the socket on the stove
and the mains plug (Fig. 1).
► Connect the mains plug to the mains (Fig. 1).
► Open the service door.
► Set the switch on the control panel to "On" (Fig. 2).
When the power light lights up blue, the controller is ready.
9 Close the service door.

Lighting the fire
Before lighting the fire, ensure the ash drawer is not full, flush with the seal
and the openings in the fire grate not covered by ashes:
► Open the firebox door.
► Place the logs in the middle of the grate in the
firebox (Fig. 5):
