5.6. CHARGING THE BATTERY LIFE THROUGH THE GENER-
ATOR
Whenever the generator is producing energy:
• The system will start charging automatically and the
ON light will be either blinking or lit in white.
• The autonomy indicators will blink during charge
representing the battery level.
5.7. CHARGING AND SUPPLYING THE REFRIGERATION
UNIT THROUGH THE GENERATOR
Whenever the generator is producing energy while
the refrigeration unit is operating at the same time:
• The system will start charging automatically and the
ON light will be either blinking or lit in white.
• The autonomy indicators will blink during charge
representing the battery level.
• In the display will activate the electric motor indicator,
meaning that the Refrigeration unit is operating in
electric mode.

5.8. SEEP MODE

Telematics can shut down the Battery life (disable service discon-
nect) to save battery
The sleep mode can be entered when following condition occur:
• 72h without load.
• 30min without battery information.
e.g. service disconnect is manually pressed.
On trailers, after system is turned OFF the first time, it will not
turn on again.
It will be necessary to manually turn ON the telematics.

5.9. AUTO OFF

Telematics automatically turn OFF the Battery life after 3 hours without
detecting load (remote shows OFF).
• Plugging the grid also resets the 3h time, and the system will not go to
sleep while the plug is connected.
• However, even is the plug is connected for 2h30, with no button is
pressed and then the plug is removed:
if the "battery life" no detects load after 30 minutes, the system
will go to off as well (totaling 3 hours)
On trailers, after Battery life is turned OFF the first time, it will
not turn ON again. It will be necessary to manually turn ON
the telematics.

6. DRIVER TROUBLESHOOTING

Carrier Transicold produces Battery life units' within the highest
level of quality and reliability. However, if the Battery life unit isn't
handled correctly, it shows certain alerts to guide the user to re-
store its normal operation.

6.1. ALARM SIGNALS - SUPPLY REFRIGERATION UNIT
USING BATTERY LIFE UNIT
If ON is yellow and Battery life unit is not
starting
1. Press and rotate the Service Disconnect;
2. Press the green button until ON is white, restarting
Battery life unit.
If the alarm persists please contact your
Carrier Transicold service partner
If the ON and OFF buttons are grey
1. Press and rotate the Service Disconnect;
2. Press the green button until ON is white, restarting
Battery life unit.
Possible solution
Shutdown Refrigera-
