Range end
Same as range start. Enter the range end, e.g. "14" with a sensor for 0-14 pH.
If the whole measurement used does not need to be seen the lower value of the required
Zoom start
range can be entered here (increased resolution).
Example: Transmitter with 0-14 pH, required range 5-9 pH. Set up a "5".
The same as "Zoom start". Enter the upper value of the required range. Example:
Zoom end
Transmitter range required is 5-9 pH. Set up a "9".
The more unwanted interference on the measurement signal the higher the value to be
Damping/filter
entered here. Result: fast changes are dampened/suppressed
(for experts: "lowpass 1")).
Copies all settings of the actual channel to the selected channel (incl. Alarm set points).
Saves time, when similar channels are connected to different inputs (e.g. pressure
Copy settings
sensors before and after filters).
Hint: The measurement point identifier is also copied to the target channel. The last
characters are however substituted by the channel number (e.g. "02", "03", ...).
Offset
Factory default "0". Preset value is added to the measured input signal.
Setting only required if this analogue measurement point is to be integrated, e.g. for
Integration
quantity measurement. It is possible to calculate an intermediate, monthly, yearly or total
value.
Only on direct connection to thermocouples.
"Intern": Compensation of the voltage error occurring at the terminals due to measurement
of the rear panel temperature.
"Extern x°C": Compensation of the voltage error when using a thermostat controlled
Comparison point
external comparison point. Recommendation when using thermocouples type B
(cold junction)
(Pt30Rh-Pt6Rh): When connecting this thermocouple directly then set it up without an
external comparison point "Extern (0°C)". The reason: there is a non-linear curve in this
thermocouple at the range
of 50°C.
By integrating the analogue signal (e.g. flow rate in m³/h) quantities (in m³) can be
Integration
calculated.
Select the required time base. Example: ml/s -> time base seconds (s); m³/h -> time base
Integration base
hours (h).
Integration units
Enter the unit for the calculated quantity (e.g. "m³").
Scroll display
Selection, which counter is to be displayed scrolled with the instantaneous value.
Analogue values smaller than the selected threshold value (absolute value) will not be
Threshold value
integrated.
Factor for calculating the integrated value (e.g. the transmitter delivers l/s -> integration
calc. factor
base = second -> engineering units requied in m³ à enter factor 0.001 )
