Replace the handset
If the entered password does not match the
programmed password, or if the password
is repeated incorrectly, a warning tone will
be emitted (3 short beeps).
Key lock
This telephone features a key lock for
mobile phone calls, long-distance calls and
international calls. When the lock for mobile
phones is enabled, users cannot make calls
to numbers that begin with 8 or 9. When the
lock for long-distance calls is enabled,
users cannot make calls to numbers that
begin with 0. When the lock for international
calls is enabled, users cannot make calls to
numbers that begin with 00.
Note:
The lock for mobile phone calls may not
work properly in some countries due to the
numbering plan for mobile phones used in
these countries.
Locking or unlocking the telephone:
Lift the handset
Press the PROG key
Press the

Note:
• If the long-distance call lock is enabled,
the telephone will also be locked for
international calls.
• If the telephone is connected to a PBX
system
and
access codes coincide with the DDD,
DDI and mobile phone prefixes, the lock
feature will not work properly.
Temporary unlocking of the telephone:
If you know the password, you can unlock
the telephone to make calls. Once a call is
completed, the telephone will revert to the
most recent lock state. To unlock the
telephone temporarily, proceed as follows:
Lift the handset
Press the PROG key
Press the
: Enter the password (4 digits)
Press the PROG key
: Dial the desired telephone number
