OPERATION
CAUTION:
If the nylon cutting head acciden-
tally impacts a rock or hard object during oper-
ation, stop the tool and inspect for any damage.
If the nylon cutting head is damaged, replace it
immediately. U s e o f a d a m a g e d c u t t i n g t o o l c o u l d
result in serious personal injury.
Adjusting the handle position
CAUTION:
Before adjusting the shaft length,
be sure to switch off the tool and remove the
battery cartridge from the tool. F a i l u r e t o d o s o m a y
cause a personal injury.
Adjust the length of the shaft and the cutting angle so
that the nylon cutting head is flat to the ground when
y o u h o l d t h e h a n d l e w i t h y o u r r i g h t h a n d .

To adjust the shaft length, open the lock lever, then
adjust the length of the shaft, and then close the lock
l e v e r .

Adjust the position of the loop handle so that you can
