Selecting the right temperature

Type of hair
bleached/lightened hair
fine and colour-treated hair
normal to thick, untreated hair
Always start at the lowest temperature recommended for your hair type.
If required, raise the temperature in small steps to reach the optimum temperature
setting.

Activating/deactivating the key lock

To avoid accidentally changing the temperature setting during smoothing, you
can activate the key lock:
Hold down the + button 6 for about 2 seconds. The buttons are now locked
and the lock symbol
Press the + button 6 again for about 2 seconds to deactivate the key lock.

Automatic switch-off
If no button is pressed for about 25 minutes, the LED display 4 starts to flash.
After a further 5 minutes, the appliance switches off automatically and the LED
display 4 goes out.
