Transport

ATTENTION!
When transporting the heat pump, ensure that it is not tilted more than
45° (in any direction). It may briefly be tilted up to 60° (when being
transported through doors).
If possible, use the wooden pallet for transporting the heat pump
to its final installation location.
For the purpose of safe transport, the heat pump is secured to its
transport pallet by four "brackets". For the heat pump to be in-
stalled, the four screws and the "brackets" must be removed as
illustrated.
ATTENTION!
Only the two outer tapping screws (M5x12) are to be removed from each
bracket as illustrated - the two inner tapping screws (M5x12) must not be
loosened!
After the brackets have been removed, the outer tapping screws
can be screwed back on in their original positions. This increases
the stability of the device.
The basic device can be transported with a lift truck, hand truck
or by means of 3/4" pipes fed through the holes in the base plate
or frame.

Before using the holes in the frame, it is advisable to remove
each of the side panel assemblies. This is done by loosening
each of the two screws at the base and then withdrawing the pa-
nels by unhooking them from above. Rehang the panels by
gently pushing them in an upwards direction.

4.1 Disassembly for Transport

Due to the heat pump's external dimensions and total height of
approx. 2.1m, it is not always possible to transport it to its instal-
lation location, particularly through doors, in its fully-assembled
form. To make transport nonetheless possible, the heat pump of-
fers the option of "disassembly". This means that the heat pump
can be separated into an upper section (total height approx.
1.65m) and a lower section (total height approx. 55cm).
For this, the lower facade panels (with the exception of the smal-
ler panel for the water pipe feed-throughs) must be removed. The
three flanged unions on the water pipes must then be loosened
(see diagram).
Following this, the two plug connectors (in the vertical cable in-
side the lower section of the device) in the electrical leads of the
immersion heater and the internal circulating pump must be dis-
connected.
The 16 screws (M5x12) around the coupling-joints (see illustra-
tion) must then be removed. The upper section of the device can
now be lifted from the lower portion (e.g. using transport pipes)
and set down on its device feet.
Re-assembly of the device at the installation location is perfor-
med in reverse order.
