9.1.2 Driving rollers

1 Unscrew the screws (17) and remove the protective plate (16).
2 Remove the driving rollers (12) and washers (13).
3 Unscrew the screw (9) and take off the guide piece (10).
4 Unscrew the locking screw (15) in the middle. Remove the drive gears (11) and replace them, if
necessary. The central drive gear (14) is fixed by means of a feather key. Ensure correct mounting of the
feather key connection.
Replace the central drive gear (14) only if the driving rollers (12) are worn.

The drive gears must be replaced every year.

5 Check driving rollers (12) for wear, replace them in pairs, if necessary, and mount the components again.
6 Mount the guide piece (10) and fasten it with a screw (9).
7 Mount the protective plate (16) and secure it with screws (17).
Observe the following:

9.2 Maintenance intervals

Observe the instructions of the guideline EN 60974-4 „Inspection and test during the operation of arc
welding equipment" and the laws and guidelines valid in the respective country.
Check the following:
Daily
Check all cables, connecting hoses and
connections for damage and replace if
necessary.
Check the wire feed rolls and the set con-
tact pressure.
Visual inspect the inlet and outlet nipples
for wear.

Monthly
Check that all mobile parts and roll bear-
ings are working and replace if necessary.
9 Maintenance and cleaning
Yearly
Replace the drive gears.
