3.1
front mesh trim installation

Mesh trim may be hot. Do not touch mesh trim until cooled.
If equipped with door latches that are part of a safety system, they must be properly engaged. Do not operate
the appliance with latches disengaged.
Facing and/or fi nishing materials must not interfere with air fl ow through air openings, louvre openings,
operation of louvres, or doors/access for service. Observe all clearances when applying combustible materials.
Before door is removed, turn the appliance off and wait unti appliance is cool to touch. Doors are heavy and
fragile so handle with care.
A.
Remove the 2 screws from the top of the appliance.
B.
Have 2 people lift the mesh trim up and away from the appliance, holding the mesh trim vertical - not fl at -
while carrying. Place the mesh trim face down onto a soft, non-abrasive surface, being careful not to fl ex
the mesh trim.
C.
Bend the top tabs fl at (Fig. 1).
D.
Install the crystal embers (see "crystal ember installation" section).
E.
Install the mesh trim front by aligning with the pins on the appliance (Fig. 2). Press the mesh trim in and
down to securely engage with the brackets. It must be fully engaged to ensure the touch display panel
performs properly.
F.
Secure the mesh trim front to the top of the appliance using the 2 screws previously removed in Step A. If
appliance is fully recessed, this is not necessary.
