Purpose of the walker
The lightweight AT51112 4-wheel walker is designed to provide support and assistance to people who cannot or
do not feel confident enough to walk without some support. The walker is designed for indoor and outdoor use.
The device can be folded for storage and transport. The product is additionally equipped with a seat and a pouch.
THIS SIGN INDICATES THE MAXIMUM WEIGHT OF THE USER.
General safety information
1. the maximum user weight of 136 kg must not be exceeded.
Do not use the walker on conventional or escalator stairs. 3.
(3) Never attempt to push the walker while a person is seated on the seat.
(4) You must not use the seat to transport people or goods.
(5) Never use the seat without the backrest folded out.
(6) You must not sit on the seat when the walker is on a sloping surface.
(7) The walker serves only as a support when walking.
(8) The walker may only be used with specific accessories and spare parts.
9. objects can only be transported in the pannier. Do not hang heavy objects on the handles of the walker as this may
impair the stability of the walker.
WARNING:
In the event of a device-related "serious incident", which directly or indirectly led to, could have led to, or is likely to
lead to any of the following events:
a) death of a patient, user or another person, or
b) temporary or permanent deterioration of the health of a patient, user or another person, or
c) a serious risk to public health, such a "serious incident" must be notified to the manufacturer and to the competent
authority of the Member State, in which the user or patient resides. For Poland, the competent authority is the Office
for Registration of Medicinal Products, Medical Devices and Biocidal Products.
WARNING:
In the event of pain, allergic reactions or other alarming, unclear symptoms related to the use of the medical device,
please consult a healthcare professional.
NOTE: The manufacturer is not responsible for damage caused by negligent maintenance, improper servicing or as a
result of not following the recommendations contained in this manual.
ATTENTION: It is forbidden to use the product in any other way than in accordance with its intended use!
NOTE: There may be a risk of tipping over if the product is used incorrectly. Please observe the recommendations for
getting on/off/moving. After adjustment, stabilise the position by tightening the nuts/bolts carefully.
General precautions
l. Ensure that the walker is unfolded before use.
2. Check the brakes before use.
3. Make sure all parts are in good condition and that the moving parts are functional.
4. do not ride while sitting on the seat. Improper use of the walker may result in serious injury to the user and/or
damage to the walker frame or wheels.
5. do not use the walker to walk backwards.
6. use caution when crossing curbs and other obstacles and when using the walker on sloping, uneven or slippery
surfaces. Failure to do so could result in serious injury to the user.
7. Do not make any adjustments when using the walker.
8. Be careful with heavy objects in the bag (max. 5kg).
9. all wheels must always be in contact with the ground.
10. Lock the brakes before using the seat.
11. Lock the brakes when using the walker in a stationary position.
Warning on unpacking the product 1.
1. Check all parts carefully before assembling the walker.
2. Do not assemble the walker if any parts are damaged.
3. Do not assemble the walker if any of the parts included in the scope of delivery are missing.
4. when unpacking the parts, make sure that the handles and brake cables are not tangled, as this can adversely
affect the operation of the assembled brakes.
