Chapter 12, Installation of the motor
MOTOR BELT TENSION
TENSION DE LA COURROIE DU MOTEUR
•Assemble the motor and pinion to its mounting plate.
• Assemblez le moteur et le pignon sur la plaque.
•Fit the motor assembly into position.
• Mettez l'ensemble en position dans le châssis.
•Compress the springs by pushing the motor toward the main shaft.
• Comprimez les ressorts en poussant l'ensemble vers l'axe principal
•At maximum compression, temporarily tighten one of the slide screws.
• À la compression maximum, serrez temporairement une des deux vis «glissantes» (celles de l'avant)
•With the minimum centre distance it is easy to install the belt. First put the belt on the motor pinion.
• Dans cette position il est facile d'installer la courroie. Mettez d'abord la courroie sur le pignon moteur.
•Then put the belt around the big pulley.
• Ensuite mettez la courroie sur la grande poulie.
•Rotate the motor several times by hand.
• Tournez le moteur à la main plusieurs fois.
•Release the screw that locks the slide.
• Dévisser la vis que vous avez temporairement vissé juste avant.
•The springs keep the belt in tension.
• Les ressorts mettent la courroie en tension.
•Help the springs by pulling the motor slightly.
• Aidez-les en tirant légèrement sur le moteur.
•Lock all screws.
• Vissez définitivement.
