a breathing bag of about 6 litres with activation handle fitted depending on the version:
Version A: An oxygen STARTER in the form of a single-use capsule, to be replaced after every use and a blue DUMMY

cartridge,
Version B: A BLUE REFILLABLE cartridge (using an independent external air source) connected to a clip-on inflatable bag.
o
The BLUE breathing bag with a Velcro closure allows it to be opened/closed rapidly after every use, depending on the version, in order
to:
Version A: Replace the used starter.
o
Version B: Refill the empty cartridge with air.
o
Operating principle
When using the apparatus, the user simulates inflating the breathing bag by activating the starter or lever on the refillable cartridge
(depending on the version).
Then, the user breaths ambient air entering through orifices located on the device included in the ribbed hose.
The user generally breathes out through the same orifices.
After a few breaths the breathing bag is completely empty.
The respiratory resistance experienced by the user is similar to that with an actual apparatus.
Figures 1 and 2 show the inspiratory (green arrows) and expiratory (red arrows) respiratory flow circuits in FENZY TRAINING OXY-PRO.
USE
Conditions of use
This apparatus is designed for training only and may only be used in conditions where the air is breathable.
Inspection before use
Before each use, check that the vacuum gauge needle on the casing of FENZY OXY-PRO TRAINING is in the green zone.
If that is not so, have the apparatus verified in a specialised workshop.
Switching on (Figures 3a to 3h)
The apparatus is stored in its sealed casing. To use it, proceed as follows:
•
Remove the protection of the opening system. (Figure 3a)
•
Take off the lever of the closing system – it should reach the atmospheric pressure in less than 10 seconds on average.

The casing cover falls off on its own. If, exceptionally, the cover does not fall, use the tab of the opening device to push the cover.

•
Take the apparatus out of the casing and unfold the breathing bag fully. Place the strap fitted to the bag behind the neck so that it
rests on the chest. (Figure 3d)
•
Insert the end of the ribbed hose into your mouth, between your lips and your teeth. (Figure 3e)
•
Put on the nose piece.
•
Using one hand, hold the cartridge at the base of the ribbed hose and use your other hand to pull the white handle downwards to
activate the starter or refillable cartridge (depending on version). (Figure 3f)
•
Never pull the ribbed hose.
•
Put on the goggles, if supplied. (Figure 3g)
•
Adjust the neck strap. (Figure 3h)
•
Breathe normally.
ROUTINE MAINTENANCE
The following operations must be carried out by personnel authorised and/or trained by HONEYWELL RESPIRATORY SAFETY
PRODUCTS after each use of the apparatus:
•
Remove the used mouthpiece and replace it after disinfection (*).
•
Replacing the starter or refilling the refillable cartridge (depending on version).
•
Reconditioning of FENZY OXY-PRO TRAINING.

Detergent and disinfectant product with bactericidal, fungicidal and viricidal action.
Effective against HIV (AIDS) and hepatitis B viruses
Instructions for using "EPI U-S"
The following instructions for use are given for information only; if the product is supplied with different instructions, follow them in
preference to those given here.
•
Shake the container to mix the product.
•
Dilute the concentrate to 3% in cold or tepid water. For very dirty equipment, the concentration can be increased to 5%, adding
the 5 litres to 100 litres of water.
•
The temperature of the bath must be between 20° C a nd 40° C.
•
Do not exceed 40° C.
•
Cleaning duration in an ultrasonic bath: 15 minutes to ensure disinfection.
•
Cleaning should be followed by rinsing in water.
•
Dry the PPI in a fan-circulated oven set between 50° C and 60° C.
Comment: the EPI U-S product can also be used without ultrasound; in this event, disinfect components by immersion for a minimum of
15 minutes
The breathing bag and components it contains, which as isolated from the mouthpiece, do not need to be disinfected after each use.
