Being in possession of these instructions does not automatically authorise the holder to use breathing apparatus; only
appropriate training will enable safety procedures to be followed.

The recommendations in boxes have the following meanings:
Failure to follow the instructions in boxes could seriously damage the equipment used and put
the user in danger.
Failure to follow the instructions in boxes could lead to incorrect use of the equipment and result
in damage to the equipment.
PROTECTION AND USAGE CATEGORIES
This equipment is designed for training and does not protect the user's respiratory tract from
toxic gas, dust or aerosols or when the atmosphere is poor in oxygen. It must only be used in a
breathable atmosphere (21% oxygen).

DESCRIPTION OF THE TRAINING APPARATUS
The FENZY OXY-PRO TRAINING is a blue, dummy apparatus, to simulate wearing the real apparatus.
It enables the user to learn how to wear the apparatus as well as to open its casing.
Demonstrations and training take place in a breathable atmosphere.
The FENZY OXY-PRO TRAINING does not simulate physiological phenomena, such as the CO
respired gases.
This apparatus is designed for teaching users how to use the apparatus; it simulates breathing against respiratory resistances similar to
the actual apparatus.
There are 2 versions of the apparatus:
•
FENZY OXY-PRO TRAINING Version A (Figure 1) operating with:
An oxygen starter and a dummy cartridge.

FENZY OXY-PRO TRAINING Version B (Figure 2) comprising:
A refillable air cartridge and an inflatable bag.
o
Staff training and regular retraining are essential for the correct use of apparatus in an emergency situation.
FENZY OXY-PRO TRAINING apparatuses have a BLUE cover to avoid any confusion with actual functioning apparatuses.
The apparatus is stored in a sealed metal casing that is closed by the negative pressure created inside it. The casing closing system has
a blue seal and elastomer protection. The rear face of the casing has a pictogram about use and identification labels.
The apparatus essentially comprises the following:
•
a ribbed hose,
•
a mouthpiece with removable nose clip, fitted with a device simulating the thermal sponge and enabling the user to breath the
ambient air easily; this assembly must be removed, disinfected and/or replaced after every use,
•
an emptying device to limit inflation of the breathing bag,
It should not be used in an atmosphere that could put the user's life at risk.
