10. Disconnect the mains plug 13 from the
wall socket.
11. Remove the filled bowl 12 and empty
it.
12. Clean the device as soon as possible
after use.

7. Cleaning

Clean the device prior to its first use!
DANGER! Risk of electric
shock!
Pull the mains plug 13 out of the wall
socket before you clean the Spiral Cutter.
The base 10 and the power cable with
the mains plug 13 must not be im-
mersed in water or other liquids.
DANGER! Risk of injury from
cutting!
The blades of the blade cones 6 are
sharp. When washing manually, the
water should be sufficiently clear that
you can see the blades easily.
WARNING! Risk of material damage!
Do not use any astringent or abrasive
cleaning agents.
NOTE: certain food or spices (e.g. carrots,
curry) may discolour plastic. This is not a de-
fect with the device and harmless to health.
After every use
• Clean the device and all individual
parts used after each use and remove
all food residues.
• Turn the filler chute 2 clockwise until the

7. Pull the filler chute 2
off upwards.
• Prior to cleaning, all parts must be sepa-
rated (e.g. separate the blade cone 6
from the cone holder 4).
• Remove fruit and vegetable remnants
from the blades of the blade cones 6 us-

ing a washing-up brush, a small bottle
brush or similar.
Base unit
• Wipe off the base 10 and the power
cable 13 using a lightly moistened
cloth. Dry with a dry cloth.
• In the case of stubborn food residues,
add a little mild detergent to the damp
cloth. Ensure that the damp cloth is not
dripping wet!
Disassembling the ball-bearing
ring
• Figure D: grip the filler chute 2 firmly
and rotate the ball-bearing ring 5 anti-
clockwise until the cone holder 4 and
ball-bearing ring 5 can be removed
from the filler chute 2.
Cleaning the ball-bearing ring
The ball-bearing ring 5 can be cleaned with
clear, warm water and some detergent.
NOTE: for the balls to continue sliding free-
ly, the ball-bearing ring 5 must be cleaned
in clear dishwater. This prevents dirt from
reaching the bearings.
Manual cleaning
1. Figure C: grip the cone holder 4 firm-
ly and rotate the blade cone 6 clock-
wise until it separates from the cone
holder 4.
2. The accessories (plunger 1, filler
chute 2, cone holder 4, blade cones 6
and bowl 12) can be cleaned with
warm water and a little detergent.
Clean the blade cones 6 carefully us-
ing a washing-up brush, a small bottle
brush or similar.
3. Afterwards, rinse all parts with clean
water.
4. Allow all parts to dry completely before
you assemble them, put them away, or
use the device again.
