located on the ash cover and, if
necessary, open the said cover.
If the chimney is cold and the chimney
effect low, you may introduce papers in
the cleaning hatch on the wall above the
cooker.
Once lighted, regulate the cooker by
means of the primary air valve located
on the ash and log cover. Take into
account that excessive draw will lead to
greater coal or wood consumption and
to the overheating of the hob. The hob
must never reach red-hot temperatures.
The fuel load must not exceed 50% of
the hearth capacity. Do not leave the
hearth or ash covers open.
Do not place wood or coal near the door
in order not to damage the enamel
finish on the front.
Direct Draw (Only L-09 CC)
In order to prevent smoke from leaking
out due to deficient chimney draw
(because the chimney may be cold), we
recommend opening the direct draw
device before lighting the cooker. This is
achieved by removing the top and
middle ring from the right-hand rings
and opening the cover using the stoker,
as indicated in the figure. Close, once
the chimney has heated up.
If you wish to increase the cooker's
thermal
power,

Always control oven temperature by
means of the thermometer installed on
the door. If the temperature reaches

Cleaning should be performed when the
cooker is cold using slightly soapy water
and damp cloths for the enamel parts.
Avoid using strong detergents, acid or
abrasive products or any other product
that may damage the enamel. Once
deteriorated, the enamel cannot be
repaired.
Regulating draw.
The cooker comes with a sliding valve to
be installed in the wall in order to
increase
or
reduce
diameter and, consequently, regulate
the draw. Fig. 13.
Both the log door and the ash pan
feature sliding valves that can be used
to adjust the intake of secondary and
primary air, respectively.
do not add more fuel; close the air
intake valve on the ash pan cover and,
if necessary, open the log cover to slow
down combustion.
The
excessive
temperature
cooker - oven temperature in excess of
300 ºC (red area on the thermometer) –
may damage the hob.
Food will take less time to prepare if the
pots, pans and other utensils used have
perfectly flat bases.
Lighting for the first time.
When lighting the hearth for the first
time we recommend a slow fire for 3 to
4 hours. This will help stabilise the
different components and avoid any
possible
the
chimney
of
the
breakages.
