This model comes in two different
versions, as explained below:
Model L-09 CC
This is a closed heating version for
central or wall-mounted installation
together with kitchen furniture. In
the latter case, a gap of at least 10
mm must be maintained between
the hob and the kitchen stone
worktop.
If
encased
wooden furniture, a gap of at least
50 mm must be maintained on
either side in order to install a sheet
of rock wool on the sides of the
furniture,
also
leaving
chamber.
II.- INSTALLATION-CHIMNEYS
1.- BRICKWORK INSTRUCTIONS
The way you install the cooker will
have a decisive effect on safety
issues and on how it operates.
It is important to for the installation
to be performed correctly.
In order to ensure it has been
installed correctly, it should be
installed by a professional.
The way the cooker works depends
on:
The chimney.
How it is used.
The quality of the fuel used.
Over the years, you may change the
type of fuel you use but, once the
chimney has been installed in a
given place, it is not so easy to alter
or reposition.
Therefore, the following information
will help you decide whether you
can use your present chimney or
not, or whether you need to build a
new one.
I.- INTRODUCTION

an

ASSEMBLING THE L-09 CA OPEN COOKER
This model features two cast iron
sides enamelled in vitrified porcelain
that combines with the front of the
cooker.
Model L-09 CA
This is the open heating version to
be installed in brick. This model
includes a boiler and REDUCTOR DE
HORNILLO to be used when the
heat exchange in the boiler has to
be reduced.
In both models, the front section is
made of cast iron, enamelled in
vitrified
porcelain
polished cast brass hinges. The hob
(exclusive model) is made of cast
iron
with
a
polished
surface.

1.- How chimneys work
A basic knowledge of the dynamics
of chimneys will help you make the
most of your Mod. L-08 cooker.
Chimneys:
a)Safely evacuate smoke and
gasses from the house.
b)Provide sufficient draw in the
hearth to keep the fire alive.
What is the "chimney draw"?
The
tendency
air
generates the chimney effect.
When a cooker is lit, hot air rises
through the chimney. The chimney
flue heats up and keeps it drawing.
Until the cooker and the chimney
are hot enough, the chimney effect
will not work properly.
